About the event

Are you interested in fermentation and not sure where to start?! Fermented drinks are so incredibly great for gut health and much cheaper to make yourself, a great new hobby to start 2026 off right!

Back by popular demand - our tutor Lynsey will take you through the basics of how fermentation works and why that makes it so good for you. We will then talk through the process of making two of the easiest liquid ferments, Kombucha (a simple fermented sweet tea drink) & a Ginger Bug (for making ginger beer or a variety of other home made sparkling soft drinks!), both of which provide different types of bugs for your gut. Like those pro-biotics in the supermarket, but with zero additives, a lot less sugar, and way cheaper to make yourself once you know how! You will get to try a variety of samples made with different teas…
