At Dundee’s hub for collective climate and social action, creative projects and big-hearted change, we dream it and build it together. Designed and delivered by our core team and partners from four local community organisations; Transition Dundee; Uppertunity; The Maxwell Centre; and ScrapAntics, we strive together for climate and social justice.
Through events, seed funding and activities across Dundee, we spark community-led projects, connect climate action that’s already happening, and amplify collective community action
If our community is a forest, Dundee Changemakers Hub is the mycelium network that connects everyone and helps them share information and resources to grow strong and resilient together. We provide opportunities to connect at our workshops and events, help seedling projects get started and established ones grow, help our community reach their climate goals, and encourage projects testing better ways of working through our pilot projects. Our pilot project for this year is Dundee Dots, an alternative currency for Dundee. Thirteen local organisations contribute a list of things they can provide such as workshops, room hire, food, or design advice.
