Youth Work
Our aim is to give young people a voice on climate action and in Dundee’s move to a more sustainable future.

What do we do?
We run climate themed workshops in our own spaces and with community groups across Dundee to ensure young people from all backgrounds get a chance to be involved. From learning to sew, to jewellery upcycling, to Zine making and much more... we have been listening to the needs and wants of young people regarding climate action and the future Dundee they want to see. This helps us to know what we should be working on next, and how we can help them become an active voice in their community.
Why do we do this?
Children and Young People are particularly vulnerable to the mental health implications of Climate Change, more so than generations before them. It is their future and their lives will be significantly impacted as the climate and the world changes. We hope that we can ease some of this climate anxiety by giving the young people of Dundee a fun, positive experience which encourages them to get involved and have their say on a more equitable, fair and sustainable future Dundee!
